• GRAMMY Nominated Upcoming Performers

    The 54th Annual GRAMMY Awards were held on February 12, 2012, at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California. Congratulations to Lady Antebellum and the other three nominees that are upcoming performers at Madison Square Garden's various venues.

    Lady Antebellum, the country pop music group, won the GRAMMY for “Best Country Album” for their number one album, “Own the Night”. Lady Antebellum will be taking the stage at Radio City Music Hall with fellow country star, Darius Rucker.

    The husband and wife country music duo known as Thompson Square were nominated for two GRAMMY Awards this year. They were competing for “Best Country Duo/Group Performance” and “Best Country Song” for their song “Are You Gonna Kiss Me or Not”. Thompson Square will be opening for Lady Antebellum and Darius Rucker at Radio City Music Hall.

    Mumford & Sons, the British folk rock band, were nominated for four GRAMMY Awards for their song “The Cave” including, “Record of the Year”, “Song of the Year”, “Best Rock Performance” and “Best Rock Song”. Mumford & Sons will be one of the many performers at Amnesty International’s Secret Policeman’s Ball held for the first time at Radio City Music Hall.

    The Black Keys were nominated for “Best Pop Duo/Group Performance” for “Dearest” from the compilation album “Rave On Buddy Holly”. The Black Keys will be playing two sold-out shows at Madison Square Garden.
